Wednesday, January 25th the City of Port Arthur and several other supporters and housing professionals joined The ITEX Group for the opening of Edison Square. What was at one time a pre-WWII middle school is now the location for the newly construct 78 one- and two-bedroom apartments in 39 duplex structures.
Edison Square will serve as a great community treasure for years to come and will be ideal for seniors because of the several nearby amenities including: a community center with programs for senior citizens, nearby grocery stores, restaurants, business center, pharmacy, outdoor park, and the City’s senior center (amenities valued by seniors).
